Simple Ways to Heal a Broken Heart

Dealing with a Broken Heart is really difficult—most especially when you built your live with someone, trust and care for them, and then, in the blink of an eye, they dump you!
When those you love deeply reject you, leave you, or die, it leaves you with a Broken Heart. But that should not hold you back from loving deeply.

Here are 6 ways to heal your Broken Heart and moved on:

1. To heal your Broken Heart, wipe all the memories of the person from your life.
Im not saying you should pretend like the person never existed, but for the meantime, forget how much they meant to you and how they broke your heart.
Remove all pictures of, letters from, and references to the person who broke your heart. Disconnect the person from all the social networks you use.

2. To heal a Broken Heart, go through it, not around it.
I've realized that the most difficult task for a person with a broken heart is to stand still and feel the crack. But that is exactly what you must do. Here’s a simple fact: You have to grieve in order to move on. By going through the intense pain, you will eventually surface as a stronger person ready to tackle problems head on. Soon the pain will loose its stronghold over you.

3. To heal your Broken Heart, Love deeply.
Once our hearts are bruised and burned from a relationship that ended, we have two options: we can close off pieces of our heart so that no one will be able to get inside. Or we can love again. I urge you to love again because the heart only expands with the love we are able to pour out.
Don't forget to Smile as much as possible. It will help you feel better and look great. Watch funny movies, read funny books, or hang with funny friends.

4. To heal your Broken Heart, Give yourself some time.
Make out time to do whatever it is you love most. Whether it's surfing, hiking, cooking, or simply being around your friends, use the opportunity to surround yourself with happy and funny people, and do the things that make you happy.
You can also start a journal to record how you feel. From my past experience, I've realized that writing things down can be a powerful release. Write about whatever you want to write about. You'll feel a lot better after you do.
Please don't be afraid to feel sad. It's a normal thing.  Don't feel stupid if you cry. Going through grief is just another step along the path to recovery.

5. Stand on your own.
One of the most relieving thoughts I repeat to myself when I'm in grief is this: “I don’t need anyone or anything to make me happy.”
It is your job to fill the emptiness, with a little help from God.
You can do it.. Just be strong.

6. To heal your Broken Heart, Work it out and eat right
Work it out by running, swimming, walking, etc It's going to give you immediate relief. Eat a diet rich in fruits and veggies, lean protein, whole grains, and water. These make you look and feel fantastic.
